Hula Hooping Saved My Life.

In 2019, I found healing through movement after battling stress, feeling depressed, and a 1.5-year unknown illness.

 

I had spent years studying the mind-body connection—earning a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling—but at that moment, I felt completely disconnected from my own well-being.

At the time, I had no experience with hula hooping, but I was drawn to the pure joy and lightness it radiated—a feeling I desperately longed for. Hoping to reclaim that sense of happiness, I invested in my first hula hoop.

​

On Day 1 of my journey, I literally bumped into the wall with it… and in that moment, something unexpected happened—I started dancing. Out of nowhere, my body just moved. That day, I made a promise to myself: I would dance to one song every single day until I danced my way into healing.

​

That simple commitment transformed my life.

​

As a Certified Yoga Instructor, Vibrational Sound Therapist, Detox Therapist, and Women's Health Specialist, I began weaving these holistic healing modalities into the structure of hula hooping—transforming it into more than just movement, but a tool for deep mind-body healing. What started as a personal experiment became a powerful mission: helping women break free from burnout and reclaim their energy, joy, and balance.

Today, I create Collapsible Hula Hoops and lead hula hoop wellness experiences that have helped thousands of women across the nation reconnect with their bodies, reduce stress, and embrace play again.

 

Sometimes, the simplest things—like picking up a childhood toy—can be the key to unlocking the joy, balance, and healing we’ve been searching for.
